Otakustore, a dynamic anime merchandise brand, partnered with us to launch their Shopify store using the Opulent theme by Code4sh. The challenge was to infuse the store with the bold, colorful energy of anime culture without compromising performance. Over three weeks, we customized layouts, styled product grids, integrated animated banners, and optimized mobile interactions to deliver an immersive, brand-aligned shopping experience. The result was a visually rich, high-performing store that successfully captured Otakustore’s unique identity and boosted product engagement.
The primary challenge was achieving a visual style that matched Otakustore’s highenergy anime identity. The client had a very clear design direction: colorful, charactercentric, and immersive — something that required tuning and creatively customizing the base Opulent theme to feel more dynamic, without affecting performance or theme integrity.
We started by configuring the Opulent theme by Code4sh and layered in custom design work and layout modifications to bring the Otakustore vision to life. Our process included:
